Y'all have heard of the #GreenBook or the #BlueBook (otherwise known as the #FirstColoredDirectoryofBaltimoreCity (with a #WashingtonDC annex) published by #RobertWColeman.
Well, here's the #BaltimoreRedBook, a #NegroBusinessEncyclopediaofBaltimore
Published by the #NationalPublicityBureau (1506 #PennsylvaniaAvenue)
Created in 1934, the Red Book listed the Black businesses in Baltimore: lawyers, doctors, educators, hairdressers, bar and tavern owners, photographers and so many more.
The #NannyJackAndCoArchives contains one copy of this rare Black Baltimore business directory but have actively been looking for other editions.
