According to the Baltimore Afro American Newspaper, the Bright family was one of the oldest African American Maryland families, with connections in #HowardCountyMaryland, #MontgomeryCountyMaryland, and #OldWestBaltimore. The family was connected to #StJohnsAMEChurch (Old West Baltimore) and #EpiscopalChurchofStMaryTheVirgin (#HistoricSetonHill in Baltimore)


James was a Baltimore postal worker for over 30 years, as was his son Marshall and Ralph was a Baltimore City school principal.
