Easter In Old West Baltimore

#Lafayette Square

90 years ago, April 17, 1927, Lafayette Square

Eleanor Roberta Hicks' family legacy

One of many magnificent pages with good text

The background of the center picture is St. James Episcopal Church

Lafayette Square, originally known as Camp Hoffman, was a military encampment during the Civil War.

Lafayette Square is well worth your visit because of the beautiful architecture, the lovely park, and the countless memories of bygone days. The different religious denominations would cause the least spiritual person take note.
